  • …and other general activities as they arise.

Ideally you would have:

  • Your own transportation

Urgent Need:

We are currently in need of a volunteer to help us with our Grocery Run program.  MCHB is looking for drivers with good driving records and their own vehicle. Larger vehicles such as vans or trucks will be preferred, while the ability to help carry small to medium sized boxes would be ideal. This role would require two hours once or twice per month, mostly on Friday mornings. Reliability will be of the utmost importance. Examples of grocery runs include picking up fresh produce from distributors, going to grocery stores and receiving day-old bread, or heading to the Food Bank for emergency food hampers.  Click here for details. Please contact Sandra Ngo if you are able to volunteer. sngo @ ualberta. ca (no spaces in email)
