A WORD FROM THE TEAM

MCHB AND GATEWAY

A few Spiral Up To Success team members share their perspectives on the intricacies of the
project, providing an overview of its objectives and accomplishments. Their contributions aim to
shed light on not only the current status of the project, but also the strategic considerations for
forging a more impactful and sustainable path forward. By delving into their perspectives, you
will be equipped with a nuanced understanding of the project’s significance and the strategic
vision that underlies efforts to enhance its trajectory.

The joint venture featured active participation from Multicultural Health Brokers Cooperative
(MCHB) and Gateway Association as principal partners. Each organization allocated two
dedicated staff members to the project, seamlessly integrating this team into the broader
employment support frameworks within their respective agencies. In a deliberate effort to foster
collaboration and knowledge transfer between the organizations, project staff engaged in
regular attendance at each other’s staff meetings and functions. This intentional cross-agency
interaction aimed to cultivate relationships and facilitate continuous learning across
organizations, despite their distinct yet overlapping missions.

While the pilot project has concluded, the collaborative efforts between MCHB and Gateway
Association endure. This sustained collaboration is driven by the understanding that clients with
intersecting identities continue to seek assistance at both organizations. Harnessing the
knowledge, resources, and experiences housed within these distinct agencies remains pivotal in
delivering optimal support to individuals navigating intricate challenges. The ongoing partnership
underscores a commitment to maximizing the collective impact of the organizations in
addressing the needs of a diverse clientele.
